Seahawks vs. Ravens Prediction
The Seattle Seahawks have won two straight games over the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns. However, both of those games were at home. Now they're on the road against one of the best teams in the AFC.
The Seahawks are led by Geno Smith at quarterback. He's been solid but not nearly as good as last season. Smith has thrown nine touchdowns and six interceptions, with 1,645 yards passing.
Meanwhile, the run game has been electric behind Kenneth Walker II, who has six touchdowns in seven games.
While the Ravens miss tackles, the defense is one of the best in the NFL. They've looked dominant against the pass and are good enough against the run. The best way for the Seahawks to attack the Ravens would be to get the run game going early.
On the other hand, the Ravens are led by Lamar Jackson, who has added 14 total touchdowns this season. Jackson's got an almost healthy offense, and that has allowed the Ravens to find more success offensively.
Jackson doesn't even lead the Ravens in rushing. Instead, it's Gus Edwards, who has earned 426 yards on the ground with five touchdowns.
The Ravens are a talented offense. They've earned over 30 points in their last two games against the Lions and Cardinals. However, they'll likely struggle a bit against Seattle's secondary. The Seahawks started slow with that unit, but they've been terrific over the last few weeks.
The pass rush is also very dominant. That doesn't have as much value against Jackson, but the Seahawks could force Jackson into a mistake or two.
I'm not high on the Seahawks' passing game, and I don't think the Ravens will have as much success offensively in this game.
Therefore, I'll back the nder 44.5 in this matchup.
