The Texans found themselves a franchise quarterback.
C.J. Stroud isn't just the favorite for the Rookie of the Year. But he's also in the conversation for the MVP.
Stroud has thrown for 2,270 yards with 14 touchdowns and just one interception this season. That's on par with many of the elite quarterbacks in this league.
But he'll have one of his toughest battles yet, facing off against Joe Burrow and the red-hot Bengals.
Can the Texans get back over .500 this weekend?

Texans vs. Bengals Prediction
The Houston Texans continue to trade wins for losses. They're currently 4-4 on the year but earned a 39-37 win over the Buccaneers last weekend.
If the trend holds, they'd lose on Sunday against the Bengals.
But that's ultimately expected. The Bengals are 5-3 on the season and playing their best football of the season.
Joe Burrow has thrown for at least 283 yards in three of his last four games. But more importantly, He's had 11 carries in his previous two games. Burrow's 100% healthy and makes accurate throws while escaping the pocket with his feet.
It makes a big difference.
However, Ja'Marr Chase was injured last weekend. It's unclear if they'll be able to play on Sunday. If he's unable to go, Burrow still has Tee Higgins, who just hauled in eight catches on nine targets for 110 yards last weekend against the Bills.
The Texans have been solid against the pass. However, they've struggled to stop the run and continue to miss tackles at a very high rate. Cincinnati will want to get the run game going early. Joe Mixon has 126 carries for 490 yards, with three touchdowns.
His stats could probably be better through eight weeks. This is the game where he can get his stats back up.
On the other hand, the Bengals have one of the league's best pass rushes defensively. However, the run defense and secondary has been spotty throughout the year.
The best case scenerio for the Bengals is to pressure C.J. Stroud and force the rookie into mistakes. The only problem is Stroud has just one interception this entire season. He's incredibly poised and has many receivers who are playing at a high level right now, including Noah Brown, Nico Collins, and Tank Dell, along with his tight end, Dalton Schultz.
Stroud has been protected very well throughout the season. Therefore, if the Texans can ultimately slow down the Cincinnati defense up front, I like the Texans to stay toe-to-toe with the Bengals in Week 10.
