New York Jets vs. Las Vegas Raiders Prediction

We all wanted to get the New York Jets in prime time once again.

New York struggled mightily in their last prime-time game on Monday night.

The Jets' offense produced just six points in the losing effort.

The constant question has been why the Jets do not give another quarterback a chance not named Zach Wilson.

Wilson has had an up-and-down season. The former first-round pick has thrown for 1,600 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions.

He has shown flashes of why he was a former first-round pick and flashes of why he is on an NFL roster.

Running back Breece Hall has taken over this Jets backfield. The former Iowa State standout has rushed for a team-best 493 yards.

The increase in workload for Hall has met a decrease in workload for Dalvin Cook.

Cook was a big addition in the off-season for the Jets, but he has looked like a shell of himself since putting on green and white. He has rushed for 121 yards on the season.

The strength of this Jets team is their defense. New York has one of the best defenses in the National Football League, allowing opponents 19.5 points per game.

Las Vegas has had plenty of struggles this season, but they feel as if they are in their best form right now.

The Raiders fired former head coach Josh McDaniels a week ago.

Former linebacker Antonio Pierce has stepped in as the intern head coach and made one heck of an impression in his head coaching debut.

The Raiders blew the doors off the Giants a week ago, winning the game 30-6.

Rookie Aidan O’Connell impressed after the team announced he would be taking over as the starting quarterback.

O’Connell threw for 209 yards in the winning effort.

Running back Josh Jacobs led the way with 98 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Raiders defense has played much better as of late and ranks 19th in the NFL in points allowed per game (21.4).

New York Jets vs. Las Vegas Raiders Player Prop Pick

Hall will see a heavy workload tonight.

Las Vegas has struggled against the run this year.

The Raider's defense ranks 31st in the NFL against the run, allowing opponents 138.7 yards per game on the ground.

Only the Denver Broncos have been worse vs the run.

Hall has clearly taken over this Jets' backfield.

Hall has played in 60% or more snaps in the last three games compared to a usage rate of 38 percent in the team's first three games.

The only other guy who would take touches away is Dalvin Cook, whose usage has fallen off a cliff. Cook has played in 13% of snaps in the last month.
