9 minNFL Player Props Week 10: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
We're back with another exciting edition of NFL anytime touchdown scorer bets to place during Week 10!
There are some really good teams on Bye in Week 10, including the Chiefs, Eagles, and Dolphins, so we'll need to dig a bit deeper into the slate to find value. Thankfully, there are some plus-matchups to exploit as anytime touchdown bettors this week, as there are several games with good offenses going up against bad defensive units.
Last week, we went 2-3 for our anytime touchdown scorer bets. Week 9 cashed a couple of anytime touchdown scorer props right out of the gate, including Gus Edwards (+110) and Aaron Jones (+125), who also scored the first touchdown of the game, cashing lucrative first touchdown scorer odds as well. However, these two running backs were the only players to deliver last week, as the longer odds prospects, Demario Douglas (+250), Rashid Shaheed (+260), and Jordan Addison (+280) were all held out of the end zone despite playing in favorable matchups.
We're ready to go 5-0 this week, with five touchdown scorers picked from the 1 p.m. ET Week 10 slate. NFL handicapper Matt MacKay gives us his latest anytime touchdown scorer props to wager ahead of kickoff on Sunday afternoon.
Best NFL Week 10 Anytime TD Bets
Travis Etienne Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Jacksonville's offense is powered by third-year running back Travis Etienne Jr., who has been red-hot when it comes to scoring touchdowns in 2023. Etienne has found the end zone in four consecutive games, racking up seven total touchdowns since Week 5. The Jaguars' RB1 is earning 17-28 touches per game during this stretch and he should continue to find success in a variety of ways against a shockingly porous San Francisco defense.
The 49ers have allowed four different running backs to score five touchdowns this season and Etienne's ability to line up out wide as a receiver will put him into even better position to score a touchdown at home against San Francisco on Sunday. Etienne is the focal point of Jacksonville's offense, so the elite volume he handles, combined with the high-quality play we've seen from Trevor Lawrence and a bad 49ers pass defense, means we're highly likely to see Etienne score his ninth touchdown of the year to extend his touchdown streak to five straight games. -115 odds are tolerable, so let's stake two units on Etienne to score a touchdown for us at home out of the Bye in Week 10.
Alexander Mattison Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Minnesota's inability to run the football effectively should level set against a Saints run defense that has been getting chewed up by opposing rushing attacks this season. New Orleans has only allowed two running backs to score a touchdown in 2023, but all three of these touchdowns have occurred in two of the Saints' last three games played.
The Vikings will need to adjust their play calling to align with Josh Dobbs' skillset, which is much different than Kirk Cousins. We've already seen Dobbs settle into a rhythm with Alexander Mattison, as the two connected for a two-yard receiving touchdown in a miraculous comeback effort to beat Atlanta on the road in Week 9. Now, with more time to learn Kevin O'Connell's offense, Dobbs should be more prepared in Week 10, feeding Mattison designed screens, check downs, and other high-value touches in the red zone. Mattison has three touchdowns this season, all as a receiver, but the Saints have allowed at least 113 rushing yards in four straight games. Plus, Cam Akers' torn Achilles will create even more touches for Mattison in Week 10.
Whether Mattison scores his first as a ball carrier, or fourth touchdown as a receiver, it all counts the same for us at +105 odds, so let's stake a unit on the Vikings' RB1 to score for a second consecutive week at home on Sunday.
Tank Dell Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+170) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Houston will be without Nico Collins and Dameon Pierce on Sunday on the road against the Bengals, who have been giving up rushing touchdowns left and right in 2023. The Texans' RB1 will be Devin Singletary, who quite frankly, has not looked explosive handling double-digit touches, albeit in a small sample size. Rookie wideout Tank Dell has been a volatile player in terms of usage, but when fellow rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud is dialed in, like we've seen a few times already, Dell feasts. The speedy receiver has scored once on the road in a plus-matchup against the Jaguars secondary and now, he'll be in line to build off of his 6-114-2 outing against Tampa Bay in Week 9 with a road trip against a Bengals defense that will be without a couple of key pieces.
Dell has been getting touches as a ball carrier, handling two to three carries in four straight games, likely due to create explosive runs due to the Texans' anemic backfield. While the Bengals have been more susceptible to touchdown runs, they have surrendered two receiving touchdowns or more in three games this year. Plus, Dell's usage as a ball carrier, especially on a team without a consistent rushing attack, could give us an alternate path to cashing the rookie wideout's anytime touchdown scorer prop at +170 odds. Let's stake a unit on Dell to score his fourth touchdown of the season against Cincinnati, building off the momentum gained from his two-touchdown outing in Week 9 against the Buccaneers.
Jaylen Warren Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+170) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Pittsburgh appears to be gearing second-year running back Jaylen Warren up for a bigger workload each week this season. Warren is playing 44.8 percent of snaps this season compared to 54.1 percent for Najee Harris, while handling a 13.9 percent target share compared to just 8.4 percent for Harris. Warren is ceding carries, but he saw 11 carries and converted them into 88 rushing yards, while stepping out of bounds inches before crossing the end zone pylon against a good Titans run defense in Week 9.
Coming out of the mini-Bye, the Steelers and OC Matt Canada will likely continue this near 50 percent split between Warren and Harris. Warren has five touches, including four carries in the red zone this season, compared to 11 for Harris. Now, the Steelers land a plus-matchup against an injury-riddled Green Bay defense that barely had to compete against the Rams in a 20-3 win during Week 9. Excluding Week 9, the Packers have allowed at least one running back touchdown in three of their past four games played. Even better, for Warren's anytime touchdown purposes, Green Bay has allowed 110-plus rushing yards in three of its past four outings.
Warren is attached to a run-centric Pittsburgh offense that has reduced passing attempts for Kenny Pickett, while attempting to establish the run with its two running back committee. He should've scored in Week 9 and notched his first touchdown of the season against the Rams in Week 7, who also have a porous run defense like Green Bay. Let's stake 1.5 units on Warren to continue running effectively in a plus matchup at home on Sunday, cashing a solid +170 anytime touchdown prop for us by the end of the game.
Keaton Mitchell Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+350) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
OK, this may be a result of getting caught up in the hype surrounding Ravens' rookie running back Keaton Mitchell, but it's warranted. Mitchell turned nine carries into 138 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his speed, vision, and elusiveness in open space against defenders at the second and third level.
Baltimore is amongst the most run-centric offenses in the league and cycles through a deep committee of running backs to churn out first downs and touchdowns, while also managing to protect franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson. We've heard nothing but glowing reports from OC Todd Monken regarding Mitchell's abilities and acknowledgment that he'll continue earning more touches moving forward. In Week 9, Mitchell's breakout, he totaled only 10 touches but was hyper-efficient against a fairly good Seattle run defense.
Week 10 brings the AFC North division rival Cleveland Browns to M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens went into Cleveland earlier this season and won 28-3, with Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews scoring all four touchdowns. Expect Mitchell to be a factor on Sunday against the Browns, who have given up rushing touchdowns to players like Gardner Minshew, Jordan Mason, and Jake Bobo since mid-October. Only three running backs have scored on the Browns all season, but Mitchell is a special player who also benefits from playing alongside surrounding personnel, like Jackson and his offensive line unit.
Mitchell's +350 anytime touchdown scorer odds are too tempting to pass on. The explosive rookie running back should see at least 10 more touches in Week 10, if not more, plus the Browns allowed opponents to rack up 108 - 168 rushing yards in four straight games before essentially playing in an exhibition matchup against Clayton Tune and the Cardinals in Week 9. Mitchell only needs one play and one lane to turn on the turbos and find the end zone, so let's stake half a unit on the rookie's anytime touchdown scorer prop at +350 odds.
