Let's unpack some trends. Seattle has won five straight games against NFC opponents, while the Rams have failed to cover the spread in each of their past five games as underdogs. This matchup is bordering on a pick 'em, with oddsmakers giving the slightest edge to Seattle as -1 ATS and -112 moneyline odds.

Geno Smith has been underwhelming all season, but he did boost his production against a porous Washington secondary in Week 10, throwing for 369 yards and two touchdowns en route to a second-half comeback over the Commanders. The Seahawks also pulled off a last-minute comeback against the Browns, who were starting P.J. Walker. Los Angeles is healthier than they've been in weeks thanks to their Week 10 Bye, so Stafford, Puka Nacua, and Cooper Kupp should be prepared to make some big-time plays on Sunday afternoon at SoFi Stadium.

Stafford and the Rams hung over 330 passing yards on Seattle's secondary in Week 1. Seattle is allowing 37.6 percent of opponent drives to end with a score, ranked 12th-highest in the league, while the Rams' defense is even worse, ranking fifth-highest at 40.4 percent. Los Angeles is surrendering 6.3 net yards per pass attempt, 12th-most, while Seattle's marginally better, allowing 5.8 net yards per pass attempt, which is 22nd in the league. Both defenses are porous against the run, so expect potentially big outings from Kenneth Walker III and a mixture of Royce Freeman and Darrell Henderson while Kyren Williams eyes a Week 12 return.

Divisional games tend to be low-scoring due to familiarity. However, these are two defenses that haven't been air-tight this season. Factor in Stafford's renewed health, plus his past performances against Seattle, recording at least 310 passing yards in three of his last four head-to-head matchups facing the Seahawks, and the Rams should be in a good position to score points at a much higher rate than we've seen across their last few games played.

While the point total line is tempting, there's nothing like backing a home underdog off a Bye in a divisional game they have to win to stay in the NFC playoff race. Los Angeles is the more desperate team in this matchup, so let's stake a unit on the Rams' moneyline at -104 odds.
