Tonight, we have one of the best prime time games of the year as the Eagles travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch. Who has the edge tonight? Let's break it down.

Eagles vs. Chiefs Prediction
The Eagles and Chiefs are once again two of the best teams in the NFL, and could be on another collision course to meet in the Super Bowl. The Eagles enter this matchup with a record of 8-1 on the season, as their only loss was a peculiar one which came against the Jets of all teams back in Week 6. The Eagles have taken care of business other than that one game and I have to give them credit for winning as it is very hard to win consistently in the NFL, but the Eagles have not been playing as well as their record may indicate.
Five of the Eagles' eight wins this season have come by one score or less, and those five wins were against the Commanders twice, the Patriots, Cowboys, and Vikings. And against Dallas, they really should have lost as they were outgained by the Cowboys 406 to 292, but somehow found a way to win thanks to some serious red zone struggles from their opposition.
Jalen Hurts has been clutch when it has mattered, but has had some turnover issues. Hurts has eight interceptions and three lost fumbles so far, and has also been dealing with some lower body injuries over the past few weeks which could hinder his running ability a bit in this matchup. In my opinion, this game will be a rude awakening for the Eagles. Philly has played one of the easier schedules in the league, as all of their tougher games to this point have been at home. They got to play Dallas, Minnesota, and Miami at home, and took care of business in those games. But on the road it has been a bit of a different story. The Eagles allowed 472 yards to Washington a few weeks ago on the road, in a game where Philly needed 21 fourth quarter points to come back and win.
The Chiefs are a completely different animal than any team the Eagles have faced tonight because of how dynamic KC has been on both sides of the ball this season. The Chiefs' defense has been one of the better defensive units in the entire league, ranked second in the NFL in scoring defense and allowing just 15.9 points per game.
Mahomes, Andy Reid, and this Chiefs regime have also been excellent in this type of spot. Mahomes has been one of the most profitable quarterbacks when the Chiefs are lined at dog or favorite of under a field goal and Andy Reid has been one of the most profitable coaches in the league when his teams are coming off a bye.
While I do think there is a fairly large revenge factor for the Eagles as they are as motivated as ever to avenge their Super Bowl loss, this spot is just too good for the Chiefs. This should be an extremely close game, but I do have to give the edge to the better coach and quarterback who are at home in a spot where they have produced time and time again.
With that being said, I am rolling with Chiefs moneyline at -140 odds for 1.5 units as my most confident NFL play of the day for tonight's action. I think Mahomes and the Chiefs get it done tonight at home in what should be a thriller.
