This line is too good to pass up. Derrick Henry may be losing steam a little bit as he gets older but he will still be heavily relied upon in this Titans offense. Henry is a massive game script dependent runner where if Tennessee is close, they will stick with. If the game becomes a blowout where the Titans trail then they will abandon him.
Carolina Panthers vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction
Tennessee plays Carolina today. I don’t see Bryce Young blowing anybody out at this point in his career so this game should play out well. Henry has rush attempts of 22, 22, and 25 in Titans wins. The Titans are field goal favorites in this game and he should be running throughout the whole game.
This game could get ugly with the weather so we may see Tennessee elect to run even more than usual because it will be difficult to throw a wet ball. This game has a low total which I also like because it implies less probability of a blowout. I think Henry runs plenty of times just not efficiently. I could see him running 18 times for 65 yards or so.
Carolina allows the eighth most rush attempts to running backs and I’m not convinced Spears is a threat to split work at this point. We should see Henry get 75% of the work in the run game and that should be enough for him to get the 17 we need. Let's roll!
