Cleveland Browns vs. Denver Broncos Prediction: Do Russell Wilson, Broncos Have Edge Over Browns?

The Broncos and Browns have both been hot in the past three games, but I think Denver has a slight advantage in this one. With that being said, I will be taking the Denver Broncos -1.5 over the Cleveland Browns in what should be a great defensive battle and low scoring game.

Cleveland Browns vs. Denver Broncos Prediction

The Broncos have been hot in their past four games, currently winning four in a row. Not only are they winning, but they are beating good teams, in the past four weeks they have beat: the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, and Green Bay Packers. Three of these games were pretty close too, showing that Denver knows how to close out games and finish the job.

The Browns have some key inactives today, including: Nick Chubb, Deshaun Watson, and Denzel Ward. These are huge blows for Cleveland, considering both of their offensive stars are hurt, and one of the top defensive backs in the game will not be playing. On top of this, the Denver Broncos are at home, which is no easy task for opposing teams playing in that high altitude.

Russell Wilson hasn't thrown a pick in four games and has had seven touchdowns over that stretch. He's the playing the best football he has so far in Denver and I believe Wilson and Head Coach Sean Payton have finally got things figured out. The Browns have turned the ball over more than any team in the NFL.

On the other side, the Broncos force the second-most turnovers in the NFL and have an incredible 12 in their last three games. The Browns backup quarterback, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, was 24-43 for 163 yards last week, meaning he only threw for 3.8 yards per attempt, not very impressive. I believe this whole game will be a defensive battle, and without Watson, Chubb, and Ward, I believe the Broncos have the advantage heading into this one with an experienced Russell Wilson leading the charge.
