5 minChargers vs. Patriots Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Justin Herbert, Chargers Right the Ship?
The New England Patriots have lost four straight games. They've had poor quarterback play and haven't scored more than 17 points in any of their last four games.
Meanwhile, the Patriots will take on a Los Angeles Chargers team that has lost three straight games.
The Patriots might not have the talent that the Chargers have. However, both teams have underperformed up to this point in the season.
Is it safe to say that Brandon Staley's job as a head coach is in jeopardy with a loss to the two-win Patriots? Can Justin Herbert and Co. right the ship?
Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the Los Angeles Chargers vs. New England Patriots.

Chargers vs. Patriots Prediction
The New England Patriots have scored just 13.45 points per game this season. They've started Mac Jones in every game, but he's only thrown ten touchdowns and has 12 interceptions on the year.
New England has contemplated giving Bailey Zappe more reps at quarterback. But reports have stated that Zappe has looked worse than Jones in practice.
Jones played the first half in last week's game against the Giants. However, Zappe played the second half. Combined, they totaled seven points in a 10-7 loss.
That was the second straight week where the Patriots scored seven or fewer points in a game.
While the Chargers have struggled defensively, the pass rush is still elite. Los Angeles has allowed 280 yards passing and 110.64 yards on the ground. They haven't been good with Brandon Staley calling the defensive plays. Still, the pass rush should be effective, and the secondary can make plays, especially against Jones.
Meanwhile, the Chargers have an electric passer in Justin Herbert. They've also got one of the best wide receivers in the game in Keenan Allen. Typically, Austin Ekeler is a star in the league, but he's struggled this season while also missing some time due to an injury.
But the fact of the matter is that the Chargers have underperformed with the amount of talent on the roster.
Herbert gets the blame. However, he's been the best player on the Chargers. He's thrown 20 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He's also found Allen 97 times for 1,117 yards and seven touchdowns.
I don't think the Chargers will completely get their act together on the offensive end. However, the Patriots have been weak as a pass rush and aren't great in the secondary either.
Look for Herbert and Allen to continue their dominance on the road. I'll take the Chargers at -6. Brandon Staley will survive at least one more week.
