Colts vs. Bengals Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Jake Browning, Bengals Continue Momentum Against the Colts?

The Indianapolis Colts have won four straight games to push their record to 7-5 on the season.

The season began with Anthony Richardson at quarterback. But when he got injured, Gardner Minshew took over. While he hasn't been super consistent, he's been good enough with a terrific Colts defense over the last month.

They'll look to extend their four-game winning streak against the Cincinnati Bengals, who just earned an exciting 34-31 road win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football.

Like the Colts, the Bengals are onto their backup quarterback. Jake Browning earned his first career NFL win after he completed 32 of 37 passes for 354 yards. He also had one touchdown, no interceptions, and two rushes that went for 22 yards.

Browning looked like Joe Burrow out there!

Will he continue that momentum against the Colts on Sunday?

Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts vs. Cincinnati Bengals.

Colts vs. Bengals Prediction

The Colts have added at least 27 points in three of their last four games.

The offense has been sneaky behind Gardner Minshew. It's not always consistent, but against the Bengals, you'd have to imagine the Colts have a good game.

Cincinnati has given up nearly 250 yards in the air, along with almost 140 yards on the ground. That's nearly 400 yards a game from the Bengals defense.

Cincinnati has a reliable pass rush. However, the secondary is playing historically bad. The Bengals have also missed dozens of tackles per game and continue to struggle to stop the run.

Indianapolis' Zack Moss is playing in place of Jonathan Taylor. While he didn't have a great week last week, there's a good chance he'll return to form against the Bengals this week.

Meanwhile, the Bengals have only added 19.27 points per game. But Jake Browning was dynamic in the win against the Jaguars, earning 31 points in regulation and 34 points after overtime.

Browning showed us glimpses. He has many of Burrow's traits, which he likely learned from his time on the sideline. He's poised and can run out of the pocket when needed. But he's also super accurate and makes good decisions. We saw that last week, too.

The Colts have held teams to 222.08 yards in the air. The secondary and pass rush is very good for the Colts. However, the run defense has allowed 133.25 yards per game.

Joe Mixon and rookie Chase Brown will have plenty of room to run despite the Bengals earning only 75.82 yards per game. The Bengals handed out 31 carries, while Browning threw 37 times.

They played a lot more balanced offensively with Browning under center.

Therefore, I think the Bengals will have success offensively throughout the game. I also like the Colts to have a big game against the Bengals, who might have the worst defense in the NFL.

If it weren't for Sam Hubbard and Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals would probably be the worst defense in the NFL.

Let's back the Over 39.5.
