If you would have told me that the Philadelphia Eagles would only be laying a field goal against the Seattle Seahawks a month ago, I’d ask you if the entire Eagles starting offense was out. After three weeks in a row of watching Philadelphia’s defense get emasculated, this line makes a lot more sense. Here are a few of my favorite plays in this NFC showdown…

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks Prediction
This is a must-win game for the Seahawks, who are on the outside looking-in for a potential NFC Wildcard spot. Whether it’s Geno Smith (doubtful) or Drew Lock under center, the Seahawks will have no problem moving the ball against this weak Philly defense. To make matters worse for the Eagles, they are looking to break their two-game losing streak on the road against a team they haven’t beaten since 2008.
It’s most likely going to be Drew Lock at QB for Seattle, who was able to rack up 269 yards against the 49ers last week. Darius Slay is out for an already this Eagles secondary that hasn’t been able to stop a parked car this year. Give me the Seahawks on the spread to either hand the Eagles and Jalen Hurts, who apparently has the flu but is playing through it, their third loss in a row, or at least keep it within a field goal.
Tyler Lockett has a great matchup tonight against a defense that runs man-coverage a ton. Lockett thrives against man-coverage, and has had good success with Drew Lockett in a limited sample. He will probably be lined up against James Bradberry, who’s been one of the worst cornerbacks in the NFC this season. Lockett had 89 yards on six catches against the 49ers elite defense last week; imagine what he’s going to do against this struggling Eagles secondary…
Let’s not forget that Tyler Lockett has racked-up over 1,000 yards every season since 2018. After a big performance last week, Lockett is sitting at 711 yards on the season, and I’m sure he will be looking to end the year strong, keeping the streak alive. The ninth-year veteran finally looks healthy, and will be a main weapon for whoever steps under center for Seattle tonight.
Last night, the sharps got burned on the Jags +3.5 against the Ravens. Do you really think the books are going to bet the publish cash on a short road-favorite two nights in a row? Back the Seahawks on the spread and bet Tyler Lockett to soar over his receiving yards prop tonight. While the public is expecting an Eagles bounce-back performance, continue to fade this struggling team.
