New Orleans Saints vs. Los Angeles Rams Prediction
Don’t let the Rams get hot! It might be too late, as Matthew Stafford and the Rams have won four of their last five games, and covered four straight. The Saints have (finally) been playing some good football over the last two weeks. This New Orleans defense has given up a combined 12 points over their last two games.
The Rams’ receivers are going have their hands full tonight against this extremely physical Saints defense. Even without Marshon Lattimore, this defense has a chance to shine for the third week in a row against this inconsistent Rams team.
Derek Carr is coming off the best game of his tenure with the Saints, where he threw for three touchdowns and only five incompletions. It seems like this offense is finally starting to click under Dennis Allen. This Saints team hasn’t won a Thursday night game since 2019. This is the biggest game of the season for both Dennis Allen and Derek Carr, who are still trying to prove they deserve to be here.
It will be an uphill battle for New Orleans, who will be looking to hand Sean McVay his first home loss on a short week. Unfortunately for McVay and the Rams, if the Saints come out and play even remotely close to how they did against the Giants last week, their susceptible defense will be in shambles.
This Saints team is peaking at the right time, and in a must-win spot for both Coach Allen and Derek Carr, I’ll take my chances with the Saints on the spread. Kamara, Carr and the Saints are playing their best football right now, Don’t be surprised if they shock the world and pull off the upset that nobody is expecting tonight.
