New Orleans Saints vs. Los Angeles Rams Same Game Parlay
Leg 1: Saints +4
The Rams are 4-1 in their last five games to propel themselves back into playoff contention, but they have gotten some wins against lower-tier competition along the way. They beat the Seahawks by one (the best team during this stretch), the Cardinals (who are 3-11), The Browns (who were starting Joe Flacco in his first game back and with a new team), the Commanders (who are 4-10).
Now, on the flip side, the Saints are coming off wins against the Giants and Panthers, so it's not like they have been beating elite teams, but my point is that even though the Rams are "hot", laying four points against a decent team like the Saints isn't easy. The Rams were in a similar spot at home against the Seahawks as 2.5-point favorites and won by one. The Ram's secondary is beatable, and Chris Olave is also back, which leads us right into our next leg.
Leg 2: Chris Olave Over 4.5 Receptions
Chris Olave is back after suffering an ankle sprain, and he should immediately be the number-one target for Derek Carr on Thursday night. Olave was questionable last week but failed to pass the pregame workout test, so he was inactive. Given he has had some extra time to heal after being held out of the last game, he is expected to be pretty much 100%.
Olave had racked up 5+ receptions in seven straight games entering the game against the Panthers two weeks ago. He was dealing with an illness in that game, and the Saints blew the Panthers out, so Olave only had four receptions on five targets. Olave has 5+ receptions in 10 of 13 games this year, and he will need to be targeted heavily tonight to beat this Rams team that is weak in the secondary.
Leg 3: Taysom Hill Over 18.5 Rushing Yards
Taysom Hill is quite a special player. He can pretty much do literally anything on the field. He's a quarterback, tight end, blocker, and even a great runner. He has 72 passing yards, 347 rushing yards, and 233 receiving yards. He's the only player in the NFL like this right now, and I expect him to be used in the area where he has most of his offensive yards: the running game.
Hill is second on the team with 247 rushing yards. He is averaging 4.9 yards per carry, which is the most on the team. He's averaging 26.7 rushing yards per game, and he has been used more in close games where it is a one-possession game or the Saints are losing. Hill has had multiple games with 50+ rushing yards, and 19 should only take 4-5 carries.
