We have two loaded days of action on the gridiron to help us celebrate Christmas, and I am excited to dive into a couple of these plays. The first play I want to dive into is a six-point teaser I am looking to cash in on today.
Leg 1: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction
This one screams points to me. The battle-tested Jaguars have played well this season but having dropped three straight, they need to throw the kitchen sink at the Buccaneers today. You cannot afford to drop every game in the month of December and fall back from the position you put yourself in early in the season. Before the loss to Baltimore, Jacksonville had put up a minimum of 24 points in five straight. On the flip side, Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be the hottest team in the league right now. Both squads have a lot of weapons, and I love when Baker is playing with swagger, so take the over on points here.
Leg 2: New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos Prediction
The Broncos did not claw back in historic and dramatic fashion just to squander it all in 14 days. Denver has dropped two of their last three, and were slaughtered by the Lions last week. New England has been so abysmal offensively this season and has no business being in this game, but they keep finding ways to play 1-2 score games each week. I will buy the points down to basically a moneyline here, losing is not an option for Denver, and I think Sean Payton has the guys ready to rock tonight.
