If you would have told me that the Joe Flacco revenge game against the Jets would be happening on Thursday Night Football before the season, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you. Well, we’re here, and in Flacco’s last three games as the starting QB for the Cleveland Browns, he’s racked up over a thousand yards through the air. Unfortunately for the 38-year-old, he’ll face the best defense he’s seen all year on Thursday night.

New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns Prediction
The Flacco legacy comeback run has to come to an end at some point, right? It’s been a great run and all, but all the best underdog stories in sports come to an end at some point. We just saw the Tommy Devito story come to an abrupt end after less than two months… could tonight’s matchup against an above-average defense be the final “nail in the coffin” for Flacco?
All of Flacco’s props are set extremely low for how well he’s performed in December. Luckily for him and the Browns, he won’t be the only quarterback struggling on Thursday night. This Browns defense is one of, if not the most-underrated unit in the NFL. Trevor Siemian might’ve played decent against the Commanders last week, but their defense is broken. Myles Garrett and the Browns will have Siemian seeing ghosts in Cleveland on Thursday.
After both of these teams saw 58 combined points in their game last weekend, I want to sell-high on these offenses. I unsurprisingly don’t believe in Joe Flacco being the long-term answer for Cleveland down the stretch; just by looking at where his props are set at tonight, I can tell he is going to struggle. Fade Flacco and both of these offenses tonight.
With nearly 70% of the bets currently backing the over, we’ve seen this total hold at 35 on most books after opening a little higher last week. I’m willing to bet we see another primetime dud of a game tonight, with both offenses struggling to score at all. Give me the under after both of these teams looked a little too good last week. Once again, we’ll see the defenses shine on primetime with another under.
