On Saturday night, two AFC South teams face off for a chance to make the playoffs. If the Texans win, they clinch the AFC South. If the Colts win, they can win the division with a Jaguars loss, but either way they are in the postseason with a win. With tons of playoff implications, which team will come out victorious?

Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts Prediction
Houston opened up a +1.5 point underdog before getting steamed up to a road favorite. They are now -1.5 on most books at the time of writing this article. Not only do I love the line movement for the Texans; I love their matchup on Saturday against a struggling Colts defense.
We’ve seen both the Falcons and Titans, two of the weaker offenses in the NFL, put up 28+ points against the Colts in December. This defense is struggling, and even with some of the injuries to Houston’s offense, C.J. Stroud has a great matchup against a defense that just gave up 299 passing yards to Aidan O’Connell and the Raiders.
The Colts also have one of the worst rush defenses in the NFL. Devin Singletary has become the workhorse back for the Texans; after putting up 80 yards against the Titans average rush defense, the Colts’ bottom-5 rush defense is in trouble on Saturday.
The Texans have already lost to the Colts this season back in Week 2. It’s really difficult to beat a division rival twice in a single season, especially two teams as “evenly-matched” as the Colts and Texans. I’m willing to bet the Texans get their revenge on the road this Saturday, clinching the AFC South for the first time since 2019.
Fade the Colts at home on Saturday. Gardner Minshew has done a great job filling in for Anthony Richardson, but it will be C.J. Stroud lighting up the scoreboard this weekend. Back the soon-to-be offensive ROTY to lock up the division with a road win in Indianapolis on Saturday night.
