Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans Prediction

Both of these teams have done an outstanding job to be in the position that they are.

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans and Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski are the two favorites to win Coach of the Year.

The Browns lost starting quarterback Deshaun Watson for the season. At the time, it appeared that it would be difficult for the Browns to make any playoff run.

Cleveland started PJ Walker and rookie Dorian Thompson Robinson, but the team decided they needed more of a spark.

The Browns signed veteran Joe Flacco, who has been outstanding since taking over as the team's starter.

Flacco has thrown for 1,616 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in five games.

The Browns have been without their starting running back, Nick Chubb, for most of the season.

Jerome Ford leads the team in rushing, collecting 813 yards.

Kareem Hunt leads the Browns in rushing touchdowns with nine.

Amari Cooper has been the top option in the passing game with 1,250 yards and five touchdowns.

The Browns have one of the best defenses in football.

Cleveland ranks first in yards allowed per game (270.2).

Houston will host their first playoff game since January 4th, 2020.

It is a huge accomplishment that the Texans won the AFC South with a first-year head coach and a rookie quarterback.

CJ Stroud is no average rookie. Stroud will win Rookie of the Year and spent most of the season in the MVP conversation. Stroud has thrown for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Devin Singletary leads the Texan's rushing attack. Singletary has rushed for 898 yards and four touchdowns.

Wide receiver Nico Collins has enjoyed a breakout season. Collins leads the team with 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Texans rank fourteenth in yards allowed per game (330.7).

Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans Pick

I will fade the public and back the dog with the points this weekend.

Houston has enough offensive firepower to keep this game close.

The Texans have an underrated defensive unit that can limit Flacco and company.

I will trust the better quarterback and the home team in this spot.
