The last time we bet on Isiah Pacheco he was on pace to cash us but he left due to injury. In a playoff game where everyone will be playing through injury, I like him to bounce back for us and bring us home this time. Everything about this game screams that Kansas City will run the ball and he is the lead guy.
Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs Prediction
Pacheco has already faced Miami this year and ran 16 times in that game. This game will have freezing cold weather which will make Kansas City more likely to use the ground game than air it out in those weather conditions. Pacheco has 15+ rush attempts in seven of nine wins this year where has played. Factor in the extra rush attempt for the weather and this is a solid hit rate.
Kansas City are four-point favorites in this game and everyone knows how Tua Tagovailoa struggles in the elements. I just don’t see Miami putting up big points in a game like this and forcing Kansas City to escape the run game. We need four rush attempts a quarter, sounds perfectly reasonable.
