AFC Championship Sunday Player Props: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets for Chiefs vs. Ravens

The AFC Championship is finally upon us. The Kansas City Chiefs have become a staple of the game, arriving for the sixth year in a row. They are in a rare road spot this year, and are set to battle the red-hot Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon.

Both quarterbacks will be ready to ball out, and will be trying to find their top targets in the end zone. Every touchdown means a lot more in the playoffs, especially with two of the top defenses in the league going head to head.

We are favoring the under on this matchup with a 44.5 total, and are expecting more of a grudge match than a high-scoring duel, so touchdowns will be at a premium. For that reason, we are only providing three touchdown scorers in this game, because there aren't going to be a ton and we have to pick our spots carefully.

If there won't be many TD scorers, we have to find the value on this one as these teams fight for a Super Bowl appearance. Let's take a look at some high target earners and the biggest stars to see where we can find some profit in Sunday's AFC Championship Game. Read on to see our top touchdown scorers for Chiefs vs. Ravens.

Mark Andrews (+240) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Mark Andrews is just about ready to go for this AFC Championship game, and his status should be confirmed at some point in the next few days. Andrews has been out since suffering an ankle injury in Week 11, but has been resting and rehabbing since, and is ready to make a major playoff impact. He was likely healed up enough for last week, but the Ravens decided to give him the extra week and leaned on Isaiah Likely to carry them through the divisional round.

Likely amassed six total TDs in the seven games without Andrews, and caught many critical passes in the red zone for the Ravens. This offense is built on a significant impact from the tight end, so it makes perfect sense why Likely was able to step into Andrews' role with great success. It remains to be seen how many snaps Andrews will get as he gets back into the flow of things, especially with Likely's dominance in his absence. That does add an extra gamble to this play, but it comes down to the connection between Lamar Jackson and Andrews. When he needs a clutch completion late in a close game, he will look to his tried and true target in the red zone. Expect the Ravens to draw something up for Andrews, and the decoy dynamic between him and Likely will be interesting to watch. These are great odds to get for Andrews regardless of circumstance, which could be profitable if he gets the looks he deserves.

Rashee Rice (+175) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Rashee Rice has been one of the lone bright spots in the Chiefs wide receiver room. This year has been filled with dropped passes, mental mistakes, miscommunications, and an overall lack of talent. The WR corps singlehandedly cost them at least three games, if not more. Yet through it all, Patrick Mahomes has led the Chiefs back to the AFC Championship for the sixth-consecutive year. Despite all of the struggles, he has gotten it done when it mattered most, and Rashee Rice was one of the few players helping him achieve that.

Rice may only be a rookie, but he has played a massive role this year when his teammates came up short. He has more than double the receiving yards than any other true receiver, clocking in at over 1,100 on the season. He had a bit of a quieter game against the Bills, where Travis Kelce stepped up in a big way and emerged from his touchdown slump. We took Kelce at +135 and cashed in as he found the end zone twice, but we aren't going to go back to that this week. The Ravens have been outstanding against tight ends, and have a stellar defense as a whole. They didn't give up a single offensive touchdown to the Texans in last week's rout. Mahomes and co. should be able to find the end zone, but in a lower total game at 44, there won't be a ton of TDs at the end of the day. Nico Collins was one of the few Texans' players that was able to find success, catching five passes for 68 yards. Rice should see similar action as the Ravens' linebackers look to blanket Kelce on Sunday. Let's grab him at nice +175 odds, he has more TDs than Kelce on the year, and scored in the first round of the playoffs. Mahomes will find him in the clutch, and could even have one by halftime if the Chiefs can start hot.

Justice Hill (+300) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Justice Hill is a bit of a longer shot play here, but we are going to target him in lieu of Gus Edwards. Everyone loaded up on Edwards props last week at +110, only for him to get stuffed on the goal line several times and end with just 10 rushes for 40 yards. Justice Hill actually outworked Edwards, rushing 13 times for 66 yards and hauling in two catches. Hill may only have three touchdowns on the year, but is suspiciously low at just +300 odds in a playoff game. That's because he's getting a ton of looks as both a receiver and running back, and will have opportunities to find the end zone on Sunday as the unexpected weapon against the Chiefs.

Hill is also invaluable out of the backfield in this offense. After injuries sustained by JK Dobbins and Keaton Mitchell, the Ravens have relied on his pass-catching skills to make something happen in the pass game. He has at least two receptions in each of his last four games, and will continue to get key targets from Lamar Jackson when he needs to dump off or scramble. Hill is faster than Edwards, and will have the ability to make plays in space and get into the end zone in this AFC Championship game. Take a chance on Hill to get it done on Sunday as our longer-odds touchdown scorer with all eyes on Edwards.
