Nick Bosa Prop Picks: Don't Miss these Super Bowl LVIII Bosa Prop Bets

The San Francisco 49ers will square off with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night in Las Vegas, and defense will be a big debate leading up to kickoff. The Niners have struggled to stop the run in their playoff run, and will place an emphasis on that leading into Super Bowl LVIII.

Overall, the Chiefs and Niners have two of the best defensive units in the NFL, stacked with stars and playmakers. The Chiefs were second in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 18 points per game. The Niners aren't much further behind, and have excelled with their play in the front seven.

A large reason for their success is their mammoth defensive line star, Nick Bosa. He is a beast of an athlete, standing 6'4" and weighing in at a whopping 267 pounds. Bosa has dominated for the Niners this year after winning defensive player of the year last season. The 49ers are looking to overcome recent struggles and neutralize Patrick Mahomes, will Bosa be able to get the job done? Let's take a look at Nick Bosa's props and lines for Super Bowl LVIII.

Super Bowl LVIII Prop Pick

Nick Bosa Under 0.25 Sacks (-125) (Bet $125 to Collect $225)

Bosa had 10.5 sacks in the regular season, and added two in the NFC Championship against the Lions. However, he had a very middle-heavy campaign. Bosa compiled the vast majority of his sacks in October and November, before going sackless for the four games before the NFC title game.

The Chiefs have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, ranking second in sacks allowed per game at just 1.5. They have been able to keep Patrick Mahomes upright for the majority of the postseason, and are clicking as a unit despite losing interior guard Joe Thuney. He won't be the one blocking Bosa, so it doesn't affect that segment of the line.

Mahomes was sacked twice in the AFC Championship game by the staunch Ravens defense, but was untouched in the other two playoff games. That was to be expected against Baltimore, they lead the NFL with 3.3 sacks per game. But the Chiefs also went against the Bills who have the fifth-most sacks at 2.9, and the Dolphins with the third-most at 3.1. They didn't allow a single sack to either of those top defensive pressure teams.

San Fran is back at 15th in team sacks at just 1.5 sacks per game, and the Chiefs will be prepared to stifle these top edge athletes once again. That's why we are taking Nick Bosa under 0.25 sacks, which is favored to the under at -125 despite public bettors hammering his over.

Let's take the contrarian side here, Mahomes will be able to scramble and avoid the pressure when it comes. If the Niners do manage to sack the superstar, there's a solid chance Bosa won't even be involved. It's also important to note that Mahomes was not sacked by similar freak athletes on the Philadelphia Eagles in last year's Super Bowl; he should have plenty of time in the pocket to get rid of the ball once again.
