5 minNFL Player Props Week 1: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
One of the most fun and exciting bets to make during NFL season is betting on the Anytime Touchdown market. There's no better feeling than watching your player cross the goal line and cash your touchdown prop. We have a beautiful slate of NFL games this week and I've got a few players who I believe have a great shot to find the end zone. Keep these names in mind when you are building your touchdown parlays.
Best NFL Week 1 Anytime TD Bets
Jonathan Taylor Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
The first player I like to score a touchdown is Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts. Taylor is always one of the best TD targets week in and week out. The volume he sees on a weekly basis is insane, and he will be a bell cow running back again this year. Over his last eight games of 2023, Taylor averaged over 19 carries and scored a touchdown in seven of the last eight games (8 total). Taylor also has crazy history against the Houston Texans. He has a touchdown in all six career matchups (8 total). It is worth noting that the Texans run defense is much improved to years past, but I still expect Taylor to have plenty of chances to punch one in on Sunday given that he likely see close to 18 carries.
Mike Evans Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
The next player I like to find the endzone is Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Evans has one of the best matchups this week against the Washington Commanders. This is a team that allowed the most receiving yards and touchdowns to wide receivers last season. PFF has them graded to be the 3rd worst secondary again this season which is great news for Mike Evans who has been extremely consistent scoring TDs throughout his career. Last season, Evans caught a touchdown in 12 of his 19 games played. He has been great at home too, going for a TD in seven of his last nine regular season home games. He was Baker Mayfield's favorite target last season, and I expect him to get a ton of looks again here in a great Week 1 matchup.
Sam LaPorta Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
The 3rd and final player I like for a touchdown this Sunday is Sam LaPorta, tight end for the Detroit Lions. LaPorta will have a great matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. The Rams just traded away linebacker Ernest Jones and lost Aaron Donald to retirement. Their defense likely worsens and is much more inexperienced. LaPorta likely gets covered by Christian Rozeboom & Troy Reeder who were both not great in coverage last season (52.8 and 38.7 Coverage Grades). LaPorta was also great in regular season home games last season. He had a touchdown in six of his last seven home games (9 total). Additionally, the Rams allowed the 5th most touchdowns to the tight end position last season. The matchup really could not be better for Sam LaPorta in my opinion.
