This Weekend's Best Bets: The Five Best Bets for the Weekend Ahead

We've gone 9-1 over the last 10 picks. Let's keep the momentum going with this weekend's top five picks in college football and the NFL.

Favorite 5 Weekend Picks

NCAAF: Michigan vs. Washington: Washington -2.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Saturday, October 5, 7:30 PM ET

The Washington Huskies lost last week's game to Rutgers due to many really bad penalties. Maybe the Rutgers faithful helped that. But with Washington at home this weekend, those penalties will be corrected, and the offense will outperform Michigan's, especially in the passing game.

Give me the Huskies in the rematch of the National Championship game.

NCAAF: USC vs. Minnesota: USC -8 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Saturday, October 5, 7:30 PM ET

Minnesota is supposed to have an elite defense. However, they've given up at least 27 points in back-to-back games to Iowa and Michigan. USC, behind Miller Moss, should explode offensively against Minnesota and help cover an eight-point spread.

The Gophers will be a bottom-tier team in the Big Ten this season.

NFL: Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans: Texans +1 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Sunday, October 6, 1:00 PM ET

The whole world might be considering the Bills at -1. But the analytics love the Texans in this one.

Houston needs to clean up some penalties. But overall, they've been the more consistent team throughout the season and should get back Joe Mixon and Tank Dell on the offensive end.

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Denver Broncos: Broncos -2.5 (-125) (Bet $125 to collect $225)

Sunday, October 6, 4:05 PM ET

The Denver Broncos have won two consecutive games. They've won one in which Bo Nix was efficient and another in which he couldn't do much due to the rain and wet field.

But the main thing is that Nix hasn't turned the ball over in two consecutive games in the air. He's giving his team a chance and allowing the defense some room to work. The Denver defense is electric, and Nix will continue to improve and make smart decisions.

Meanwhile, there's a lot of drama in Las Vegas. I'm all over the Broncos at -2.5.

NFL: Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Steelers -2.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210)

Sunday, October 6, 8:20 PM ET

The Steelers are 3-1 and playing tremendously good football behind Justin Fields at quarterback. Fields isn't making many mistakes through the air, and Pittsburgh's defense has been absolutely fantastic up to this point.

Dallas might be America's team, but the Steelers have the winning tradition that every American team wants.

I'm in on the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
