New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs Prediction
Entering the season, KC was the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl. After one month, the Chiefs proved why they were the favorites.
The most impressive part about the Chiefs' undefeated record is that they have not played their best football.
Patrick Mahomes is off to a slow start this season, throwing for 904 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions. Turnovers have been an issue early in the season for the former MVP.
Mahomes' favorite target, Travis Kelce, is off to a sluggish start as well. Kelce has racked up just 158 receiving yards and is yet to get in the end zone.
KC must overcome injuries to Isiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice, two of its best offensive players. There is no clear timeframe for Rice's return, but he was placed on the IR, meaning he will miss at least the next month.
New Orleans will attempt to snap a two-game losing skid tonight. After beginning the season as the best offensive unit in football, the Saints have come back to earth in the last couple of weeks.
The Saints lost a pair of heartbreakers to the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons. A win tonight would go a long way for this team, which feels like it has a legitimate shot at winning the NFC South.
Running back Alvin Kamara is off to a fast start this season, rushing for 362 yards, which ranks eighth in the NFL.
New Orleans will need a big game from Kamara and company to pull off the upset tonight.
Let’s dive into the SGP!
New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs Same Game Parlay
Leg 1: Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown
While the entire world is questioning Travis Kelce's situation, we will trust him to have a solid bounce-back performance tonight.
KC is without their top wide receiver and top running back.
Kelce becomes the team's top threat in the red zone.
There is nobody on the field that Mahomes trusts more than number 87, and he will have multiple opportunities to get in the end zone tonight.
Leg 2: Kareem Hunt 50+ Rush Yards
With Carson Steele having fumbling problems early in the season, Hunt took over the backfield in his first game last week.
Hunt had 14 attempts and will see a similar workload tonight in a positive game script.
New Orleans has allowed 96.5 rush yards per game, and will struggle to slow down Hunt tonight.
Leg 3: Chris Olave 50+ Rec Yards
Olave has been the top option in the passing game.
The former Ohio State Buckeye leads the Saints with 265 receiving yards.
In a negative game script, Olave will see 10+ targets tonight and climb over this number.
