Leg 1: New York Jets ML

I can't believe we are doing this again, but it's time for another first leg Jets ML. If this fails once again, it will be the final attempt at a Jets wager, because their season will be officially over. It is impossible to make the playoffs with a six-game losing streak and starting the season 2-7, no matter who you trade for and how much talent you have. The Jets are still +450 to make the playoffs, so it isn't truly over until they pick up one more loss. Tonight will not be that night, and they will finally snap the skid against a banged-up Texans squad. C.J. Stroud has been impressive throughout the season, but playing on the road without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs will be extremely difficult. He is limited to basically Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz in the passing game, and that won't cut it against the second-ranked passing defense in the NFL. The Jets are holding opponents to just 161 yards through the air this year, despite their miserable 2-6 record. They will shut down Stroud's few options tonight and come away with a win to keep their season alive. With public bettors hammering the Texans and only 27% of total bets on the Jets, yet over 50% of the total money, we are going to ride with the Jets one last time as the sharp side and count on them to figure it out.

Leg 2: Aaron Rodgers 200+ Passing Yards

This leg by itself is only -290, which is surprising given his stats this year. Rodgers has hit over 200 in his last five games after missing in the first two. His official line is listed at 233, which is the exact amount he threw for last week against the Patriots. Rodgers is primed to carry the Jets out of their slump tonight. Not to mention, he's 10-3 ATS in Thursday Night Football games. The Jets may have lost a lot of primetime games this year, but they were all on Sunday and Monday night. The only time they played on Thursday Night Football was against the Patriots in Week 3 as -7 home favorites, and they rolled to their most impressive victory of the year. There hasn't been much to celebrate since then, but Rodgers will tap into the TNF energy on a short week against a banged-up Texans squad. He will rack up yards in the first half, similar to that Pats game when he threw for 280 and two touchdowns. It's do or die tonight for the leader, and he will step up with a veteran presence and connect with Wilson and Adams.

Leg 3: Tank Dell Under 57.5 Receiving Yards

Tank Dell is the only remaining WR of the Texans' previously stacked receiving corps, and the idea that he is going to fly over just because he is the only wideout left is misplaced. The Jets will be even more honed in on him now, and they don't give up many passing yards per game. Dell has only gone over this number once all year, and couldn't even get over 57 in the other close call with a massive seven receptions. Even if he gets a solid amount of targets today, the second-ranked passing defense in the NFL will be all over him. Look for Stroud to turn to Dalton Schultz and John Metchie III, among other options. Dell will be blanketed by this stellar secondary.

Leg 4: Breece Hall Under 4.5 Total Receptions

Breece Hall is well-positioned to succeed in this matchup against a mediocre run defense, and that's why we think he will focus on the rushing attack. 4.5 total receptions is too high of a line for a running back in this offense. If it was Alvin Kamara, it would be a different story. He has hit over this number in the last two games, but not in the previous three. Keep in mind that the Jets lost all five of those games, and spent a majority of the time trailing, leading to more passing reps. If they can follow the winning script today, Hall will be toting the rock often, and won't be in many late passing situations to go over this high number. Braelon Allen has also been great out of the backfield, and can pull some receptions away, as well as Davante Adams as he gets warmed up in the offense.
