This matchup screams toughness and grit on the ground, and Chubb epitomizes those traits in an AFC North divisional clash. He's had a few opportunities to take some hits and get back into the flow of things, and now the Browns will be able to lean on him more tonight. He hasn't eclipsed this number yet in his four games, but landed on 50 and 52 in recent weeks. The Browns didn't have a real lead in any of those games, and will have a chance to change that game script if they can start with an offensive score tonight. Chubb will carry the load along with Jerome Ford as the Browns try to keep this low scoring and play spoiler against the Steelers. His line has already gone up several yards, and he is ready to put on a vintage showing on prime time.
Leg 2: Jameis Winston Under 33.5 Passing Attempts
Jameis Winston has been airing it out in his three games so far, going for over 40 passing attempts in all of the games he started so far. The Browns were trailing immensely in two of them, and were engaged in a shootout in the other. Going against a top defense today, we don't expect that to be the case. This should be a lower-scoring, ground and pound division game in the cold and wet conditions. Pat Freiermuth has fallen under this line in his last three games, but just barely. He's had two or more receptions in all three games, he just wasn't able to extend the play and pick up additional yards. For these players with low receiving totals, it's important to discern the difference between not getting a ton of snaps and targets versus a lack of production. Freiermuth has had the opportunity with multiple targets, he just has to capitalize over the middle. In a divisional grudge match tonight, he will act as a safety valve for Russell Wilson in the short passing game. There will be less deep balls to Pickens and more safe passes to extend drives. Freiermuth will find a way over this number and snap his skid.
Leg 4: Russell Wilson Under 0.5 Interceptions
We're going to get a little risky to wrap this one up, taking Russell Wilson not to throw an interception.
