FanDuel Same-Game Parlay - Eagles vs. Rams
Leg 1: Los Angeles Rams +8.5
Let's begin this SGP with the game script for Sunday Night Football, and that's with the Rams starting hot and taking an early lead. Outside of the Dolphins MNF game two weeks ago, the Rams have been great at home and efficient on offense. Stafford is clicking thanks to the return of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, and they’ve been able to score often in crucial moments over the last month. They haven’t been able to blow out any opponents due to mediocre defensive play, but Stafford and Kyren Williams have kept them competitive. Even if they don’t win tonight, we’re buying a few extra points of insurance because this should be close either way.
Leg 2: Kyren Williams Anytime TD Scorer
Kyren Williams has been the workhorse for the Rams throughout injuries and early losses. With several star receivers out, the Rams leaned on him to keep their season alive, and he's delivered so far. Williams has 750 yards rushing and eight touchdowns on the year, but hasn't scored in the last three games. He gets all the major carries in the red zone, and doesn’t lose much usage to Blake Corum or other backs. Williams will have several strong chances to break his scoring drought tonight as he boosts the Rams offense.
Leg 3: A.J. Brown 6+ Receptions
This leg is -175 by itself, but it fits nicely in the parlay, and we will use A.J. Brown similarly to the way we used Tee Higgins last week. Higgins returned to the lineup and delivered a strong outing of nine receptions for 148 yards when he took him to get at least five catches. Tonight, A.J. Brown will take center stage with DeVonta Smith out. Brown has been in and out of the lineup this year, but will be the focal point of the Eagles offense. He's a big target and will secure possession targets for Jalen Hurts if and when the Eagles are trailing in the second half. He's gotten 5+ receptions in six of his seven games this year, and many of those were with Smith taking away from his target share. Brown will blow past his usual usage tonight and come away with 6+ grabs.
Leg 4: Saquon Barkley Over 115.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
Speaking of injuries, Saquon Barkley will continue to pick up even more slack than thought possible. He's been an absolute beast for the Eagles this year, racking up over 1,350 total yards and 10 touchdowns between rushing and receiving. The vast amount of his success has come on the ground, but getting the added benefit of a few solid catches out of the backfield adds security to this leg rather than getting stuck with just rushing if they are trailing. With Smith out, Barkley will also see even more touches for the Eagles. Jalen Hurts is slightly banged up with a lingering ankle injury, and may look to run less tonight. He will instead feed the rock to Barkley and also hit him on some dump off routes in the second half. The Rams have a below-average defense, ranking 22nd in both pass and rush yardage allowed, and Barkley will feast off of that in a somewhat high-scoring game tonight.
