FanDuel Same-Game Parlay - Falcons vs. Commanders

Leg 1: Atlanta Falcons +7.5 Alt Spread

The Atlanta Falcons are coming into Washington as the sharp side, with the spread coming down from +4.5 during the week. They are a desperate team, knowing they have to win every game to fend off a charge from the Tampa Bay Bucs. With an easier matchup against the Panthers next week, this will be their largest test and they can focus fully on it. Michael Penix Jr. was solid when taking over for Kirk Cousins last week, and it seemed to reinvigorate this team that had trouble moving the ball. There isn't a lot of tape on him yet, so the Commanders defense won't be fully prepared for the change. The Commanders aren't as desperate on their side, and are basically locked into a playoff spot. Even with a loss, they have a freebie against the Cowboys next week to finalize their 7th seed. Bijan Robinson and co. will do everything possible to keep this game close, and the defense has been quietly impressive over the last month. This should be a tight game in prime time with a one-score win for either team.

Leg 2: Bijan Robinson Anytime TD Scorer

Bijan Robinson has carried this Falcons offense through multiple quarterback changes as they attempt to stay in the playoff hunt. He's scored four touchdowns in his last four games, with two coming last week against the Giants. The only game he didn't score in was against the Raiders, with the anemic Falcons offense only putting up 15. In games that the Falcons offense has experienced success, Robinson has been apart of it each time. The Commanders have the fourth-worst rushing defense in the NFL, and Robinson will take advantage of that tonight. Let's back him to score at -130 odds, a nice addition to this parlay.

Leg 3: Michael Penix Jr. Under 202.5 Passing Yards

This leg is a bit of a tougher one that could bust the whole parlay, but fits with the Bijan Robinson correlation. The Washington defense may be atrocious against the rush, but you can flip that upside in the passing game. They are the fourth-best in the league against the pass, giving up only 185 yards per game through the air. Penix Jr. is now heading on the road to face this strong secondary in his second ever NFL start and a must-win game, so basically all of the pressure in the world on Sunday Night Football. He's much more likely to force the issue if they are trailing and throw interceptions rather than long completions in this spot. We are projecting Penix Jr. much lower at just 173 yards, so this has an AI probability of 60% and an +EV of 12%. Let's back the oddschecker+ AI in a rough spot for the rookie.

Leg 4: Brian Robinson Jr. Under 65.5 Rushing Yards

Staying on the unders trend but sending it over to the other side. Brian Robinson Jr. has gone under 65.5 rushing yards in five of his last six games, going for only 24 yards in 10 carries last week against the Eagles. Philly has the 9th best rushing defense, and that segways into Atlanta tonight who has the 10th best. They both give up just over 100 yards per game on the ground, and with the Commanders swapping between three different running backs in addition to Jayden Daniels running the rock, Robinson should have trouble flying over this total tonight in a playoff atmosphere. Our oddschecker+ AI projects him lower at 57.5 yards, giving this a 13% +EV on SNF.
