Bills vs. Falcons Prediction: Can Bijan Robinson, Falcons Compete with Bills on Monday Night Football?

The Atlanta Falcons will look to grab another win, but face tough competition when the Buffalo Bills roll into town tonight. Can Bijan Robinson carry the Falcons on Monday Night Football? McBets is back with his Bills vs. Falcons prediction and best betting pick for Monday, October 13.

Bills vs. Falcons Prediction: Can Bijan Robinson, Falcons Compete with Bills on Monday Night Football?

The Buffalo Bills come into Atlanta as short road favorites after a primetime upset loss to New England. The public expects Josh Allen and company to bounce back in a big way, but I’m not buying it.

This has all the makings of a classic trap spot — a road favorite off an emotional loss, facing a well-rested Falcons team coming off a bye and getting key starters back on defense. I’m rolling with the Falcons in front of a fired-up Atlanta crowd on Monday night.

Bills vs. Falcons Prediction

Buffalo’s record looks good at 4-1, but the underlying metrics tell a different story. The Bills haven’t looked dominant since Week 2, struggling in close battles against the Dolphins and Saints before getting outplayed at home by a Patriots team that had no business winning that game outright.

Now they go on the road for just the second time this season, and this matchup is tougher than it looks on paper. The Falcons are healthy, rested, and built to exploit Buffalo’s biggest weakness — defending the run.

Atlanta’s offense runs through Bijan Robinson, and this is the perfect spot for him to shine. The Bills rank 28th in Rush EPA and 22nd in Rush Success Rate, giving up chunk yardage on the ground week after week. The Falcons can lean on their elite offensive line and ball-control game plan to keep Josh Allen on the sideline — shortening possessions and forcing Buffalo to play from behind if Atlanta gets an early lead.

The Bills defense has one clear strength: their pass rush. But Michael Penix Jr.’s pocket movement neutralizes that. He’s been excellent at avoiding pressure and getting the ball out quickly — especially off play-action, where he ranks among the league’s top quarterbacks in efficiency.

With A.J. Terrell returning at cornerback, the Falcons defense should get a major lift, but this offense is what will drive the cover. Expect head coach Arthur Smith to lean into tempo shifts and misdirection — using motion, screens, and designed runs to keep Buffalo guessing.

If Penix can continue to stay efficient on early downs and hit play-action shots when the Bills overcommit to stopping Bijan, the Falcons can absolutely go toe-to-toe offensively.

Atlanta’s defense has been quietly impressive this season, particularly in how it mixes zone coverage with disguised blitz looks. That’s historically been the best formula to contain Josh Allen, who tends to force throws when pressured from unexpected angles.

This Falcons front is also better than people realize — they’re top-10 in QB pressure rate and rank in the upper half of the league in third-down defense. Combine that with the return of Terrell in the secondary, and this unit should hold up just enough to keep things tight.

Bills vs. Falcons Key Stats

This spot screams for a Falcons cover. Let’s lay it out:

  • Atlanta is coming off a bye week, rested and at home in prime time.
  • Buffalo is playing its second straight night game, traveling south after an emotional divisional loss.
  • Since 2021, the Bills are 2-7 straight up and ATS in their second consecutive night game.

That’s not just noise — that’s a real pattern of underperformance when this team has to get up again on a short turnaround.

Bills vs. Falcons Pick

The Falcons match up well schematically, get their defensive leader back, and have the rest and home-field advantage. Buffalo may win, but this line is inflated based on brand value, not current form.

Expect Bijan Robinson to do what he does best — control the pace, break off chunk plays, and keep the Bills defense honest — while Penix makes just enough timely throws to keep the Falcons within striking distance (and possibly steal this one outright).
