The only path the Vikings have offensively is through Carson Wentz carving up a secondary. The Chargers want you to throw — they invite volume and trade yards between the 20’s for compressing windows in the red zone. That is exactly what Minnesota does: long inefficient drives that bog down.
Minnesota thrives only when opponents can’t deal with pressure — that is not the Chargers. Even with OL injuries, Los Angeles has been one of the most schematically adaptable pass offenses in the league under Greg Roman: RPO, tight-end heavy looks, high-rate quick game neutralizing pass rush.
