Calgary visits Toronto in Week 10 of the CFL season on Thursday, August 6, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on CFL+. The Stampeders are -1.5 (-110) road favorites and -125 on the moneyline, while the Argonauts are +1.5 (-110) underdogs and +105 to win outright. The total is set at 68.5, with both sides priced at -110.
The Stampeders have rewarded continued support by winning consecutive road games while scoring 96 combined points. Calgary began its surge by defeating Winnipeg 52-30 behind another dominant performance from Vernon Adams Jr. The veteran threw for 319 yards and three touchdowns without an interception, while Tyreik McAllister scored three different ways and helped turn a competitive game into a comfortable road victory. The Stampeders followed by beating Hamilton 44-20, moving back to .500 and producing their first three-game winning opportunity of the season.
Toronto last played on July 25, snapping a three-game losing streak with a 26-12 victory over BC. Makai Polk led the offense with 91 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while the Argonauts’ defense delivered one of its best performances of the season. The bye provided additional recovery time and Toronto should benefit from finally playing at home, but the offense must produce far more than 26 points to keep pace with Calgary’s current scoring rate.
The first meeting established the central mismatch. Calgary defeated Toronto 58-36 on July 2 as Adams completed 20 of 25 passes for 405 yards, threw six touchdowns without an interception and added another score on the ground. Toronto could not contain Calgary’s vertical passing game or prevent Adams from extending plays, and the Stampeders enter the rematch averaging a league-high 40.3 points with 34 offensive touchdowns. Calgary has also won four of the past five meetings and carries a 3-1 road record into Toronto.
The Argonauts are capable of contributing to another shootout, especially with Chad Kelly attacking a Calgary defense that has allowed its share of production this season. Toronto also enters rested, while the Stampeders are playing a third consecutive road game. Those factors create enough late-game volatility to avoid laying points in a matchup carrying a 68.5 total, even though the difference between -1.5 and the moneyline appears small.

Calgary has become the most dangerous offense in the CFL, and the current run is supported by more than favorable matchups. Adams is protecting the football, the Stampeders can score through the air and on the ground, and McAllister adds another game-breaking element on offense and special teams.
