Minnesota is a 3.5-point home favorite at -110, with Baltimore +3.5 at the same price. The Vikings are -170 on the moneyline, the Ravens are +142 and the total sits at 36.5.
Baltimore went 8-9 last season and narrowly missed the playoffs, while Minnesota finished 9-8 after closing with five straight victories but also failed to reach the postseason. The Ravens looked outstanding without their stars in last week's 24-7 victory over Philadelphia. Rookie Joe Fagnano completed 22 of 28 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown as Baltimore accumulated 440 yards and 31 first downs. Tyler Huntley was also efficient in limited action.

Ravens vs. Vikings Prediction
Minter has made it clear that joint practices are where players such as Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, Kyle Hamilton and Roquan Smith will receive their most useful preseason work. A similar group of reserves should handle Saturday, which again creates significant opportunity for Fagnano after his impressive debut.
Minnesota edged the Giants 13-10 last week. Murray attempted only three passes, while Carson Wentz received the heaviest workload and threw the winning touchdown. Murray is expected to sit after two days of work against Baltimore, while J.J. McCarthy should receive a larger opportunity as the newly established QB2. Wentz and Max Brosmer remain available behind him.
McCarthy gives Minnesota more upside than the typical reserve quarterback, but Baltimore already demonstrated how well its second and third units can execute Minter's systems. Fagnano looked comfortable for an entire game, and Huntley provides experienced insurance if the rookie struggles.
Ravens vs. Vikings Pick
- Pick: Ravens +3.5 (-115) Check out these best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Vikings may win at home, but asking their reserve-heavy lineup to clear more than a field goal against a Ravens team that just dominated Philadelphia's backups is aggressive. Baltimore can lose by a field goal and still cash, making the points preferable to chasing the outright upset.
