4 Minute ReadPatriots vs. Seahawks Best Bets: Can Mack Hollins, Cooper Kupp Step Up on Wednesday Night in Season Opener?
The Patriots and Seahawks open the 2026 NFL season with a Super Bowl LX rematch in Seattle, giving New England an immediate opportunity to respond after its championship-game loss. Rather than attacking the side or total, the strongest value from the Oddschecker+ Positive EV Tool comes in the player-prop market.
All three plays carry modest yardage thresholds and can cash without requiring featured usage. Mack Hollins and Cooper Kupp each need only a few opportunities in the passing game, while Sam Darnold's rushing number can be cleared with a single productive scramble.

Patriots vs. Seahawks 3 Best Bets Breakdown
1. Mack Hollins Over 8.5 Receiving Yards (-113) Check out the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
- AI Probability: 76.48%
- Implied Probability: 53.05%
- EV: 44.16%
Hollins only needs one moderately productive reception to get over 8.5 yards, making this an appealing number even if his overall target share is limited. His downfield ability gives him a path to clear the prop without needing the type of volume normally required for a receiving-yardage Over.
The matchup also creates opportunities for New England's secondary receiving options if Seattle devotes extra attention elsewhere in the passing game. Hollins does not need to be a focal point of the offense here. A couple of targets could be enough, and the 44.16% EV is comfortably the strongest of the three plays.
2. Cooper Kupp Over 29.5 Receiving Yards (-113) Check out the best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
- AI Probability: 67.25%
- Implied Probability: 53.05%
- EV: 26.77%
Kupp's role no longer requires the massive target volume he received at his peak for this prop to cash. A 29.5-yard line asks for only a handful of short and intermediate completions, an area where he can remain heavily involved even with Jaxon Smith-Njigba commanding a major portion of Seattle's passing attack.
New England also has to account for Seattle's other weapons, which should prevent the defense from simply selling out to remove Kupp underneath. His route-running and ability to find openings against zone coverage give him several paths to four or five catches, and that type of workload should put 30 receiving yards well within reach.
3. Sam Darnold Over 5.5 Rushing Yards (-102) Check out the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
- AI Probability: 62.39%
- Implied Probability: 50.50%
- EV: 23.55%
Darnold does not need designed rushing volume to beat a number this small. One broken pocket can produce six yards by itself, while two or three modest scrambles would give the Over several chances to get home over the course of four quarters.
New England's ability to create pressure could actually help this prop if Darnold is forced to leave the pocket rather than consistently throwing from structure. He has enough mobility to take open rushing lanes when coverage holds, and at only 5.5 yards, the threshold leaves very little work required to cash.
