Detroit heads to Bank of America Stadium at 2-1 after scoring exactly 31 points in each of its first three games, while Carolina has flashed considerably more offensive upside than its 1-2 record suggests. The Lions are 3.5-point road favorites with the total up at 51.5, giving this matchup one of the strongest scoring environments on the Sunday slate.
This +900 same game parlay leans heavily into two receivers who have yet to fully hit their ceilings this season. Williams remains without a touchdown despite three steady performances, while McMillan has already flashed with a 101-yard game but has yet to score and now enters a matchup against one of the league's most vulnerable secondaries.
Lions vs. Panthers Preview
Detroit beat New Orleans 31-30 in overtime, lost 41-31 at Buffalo and responded with a 31-24 win over the Jets. Carolina opened with a wild 59-37 loss to Chicago, crushed Atlanta 34-3 and then fell 21-18 at Cleveland, leaving the Panthers 1-2 despite averaging nearly 30 points per game.
These teams have not met since Detroit won 42-24 in 2023. Carolina still leads the all-time series 8-4 and has historically been difficult for Detroit in Charlotte, but the current matchup looks far more offense-friendly than many of those older meetings.

Lions vs. Panthers Same Game Parlay Breakdown
Leg 1: Chuba Hubbard Anytime TD Scorer
Hubbard has already scored three total touchdowns through three games, including two in the opener against Chicago and another through the air against Atlanta. His Week 3 touchdown drought came despite handling a season-high 19 carries and adding four receptions, so the workload remains strong.
Carolina continues to use Hubbard as its primary back near scoring territory, and his receiving role gives this leg more than one path. He has 54 touches through three games and has remained involved regardless of whether Carolina is leading or chasing points.
A high-total game is exactly the environment to target that workload. If the Panthers reach the mid-20s or better, Hubbard should have multiple opportunities to finish a drive either on the ground or as a checkdown option near the goal line.
Leg 2: Jameson Williams Anytime TD Scorer
Williams is still looking for his first touchdown despite Detroit scoring 31 points in all three games. He has caught 10 passes for 127 yards, including 49 yards last week against the Jets, but his explosiveness has yet to produce the type of splash scoring play that normally defines his game.
The matchup creates a strong opportunity for that correction. Carolina enters without starting cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson, leaving a depleted secondary to deal with one of the fastest receivers in football. That matters against a player who can completely change a possession with one deep completion.
Detroit does not need to force volume toward Williams for the touchdown leg to work. One successful vertical shot or schemed catch with room to run could be enough for his first score of the season.
Leg 3: Jameson Williams 50+ Receiving Yards
Williams has finished with 45, 33 and 49 receiving yards through his first three games, meaning he has repeatedly hovered around this threshold without clearing it. He also caught all four of his targets last week, a positive sign after more uneven efficiency in the first two games.
Carolina's secondary injuries make this the best matchup he has seen so far. Horn and Jackson are both on injured reserve, forcing the Panthers to rely on much less experienced cornerback depth against Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Fifty yards does not require a true eruption. Williams was one yard short last week, and one explosive reception can dramatically change the equation. This is a favorable spot for him to finally turn steady involvement into a larger statistical performance.
Leg 4: Tetairoa McMillan 60+ Receiving Yards
McMillan has produced 193 receiving yards through three games, but the production has been uneven. He opened with 75 yards against Chicago, erupted for 101 at Atlanta and then managed only 17 yards on five targets against Cleveland.
The 60-yard threshold has therefore cleared in two of his three games, and Carolina may need him more than ever Sunday night. Xavier Legette is out, while Jalen Coker is questionable and trending toward missing the game, potentially concentrating even more of Bryce Young's passing volume around McMillan.
Detroit's secondary is also dealing with major availability problems and has struggled badly against the pass. McMillan's size and downfield ability give Carolina a natural way to attack that weakness, and a competitive game script should keep Young throwing deep into the second half.

- Leg 1: Chuba Hubbard Anytime TD Scorer
- Leg 2: Jameson Williams Anytime TD Scorer
- Leg 3: Jameson Williams 50+ Receiving Yards
- Leg 4: Tetairoa McMillan 60+ Receiving Yards
Williams is the centerpiece of the +900 construction. He has come close to 50 yards twice without finding the end zone at all, and Carolina's depleted cornerback room creates an ideal spot for Detroit to finally unlock one of its most explosive offensive weapons.
McMillan also gets a favorable passing matchup while potentially absorbing additional targets because of Carolina's receiver injuries, and Hubbard supplies the red-zone component. If Sunday night's 51.5-point total proves justified, there should be enough offensive volume for all four legs to develop together.
