Orlando Guardians vs. Seattle Sea Dragons Prediction

Seattle comes into this game as a heavy favorite on the heels of an impressive win over the Houston Roughnecks on the road. The Roughnecks have been the best team in the XFL this year, and Seattle went in and dominated the game on the defensive side of the football.

Seattle is led by former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Ben DiNucci who has been impressive this year for the Sea Dragons. His top option has been former NFL star Josh Gordon who has shown flashbacks to his best days this year.

Meanwhile, Orlando is still searching for their first win of the season. It has been a rough go so far for the Guardians, and they would love nothing more than to get the first win in front of their home crowd today. Former Central Michigan quarterback Quinten Dormandy is expected to start today. He looked good last game, throwing for 256 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Former NFL first-round pick Paxton Lynch began the year as the starter, but he has seen less time since the opening weeks.

I am going to back the dog and take the Guardians today. This feels like a good buy-low spot on a team that has had a rough go this season. On the flip side, I expect some regression from Seattle today, and I think this line is overreacting to their most recent win over the Roughnecks. Despite losing all their games this season, Orlando has been competitive a couple of times, and I expect that to be the result today.
