DC Defenders vs. Houston Roughnecks Prediction

The Defenders represent the best record in the league at 6-0. This is a team that has been led by their outstanding defense and their duel threat at the quarterback position. Jordan Ta’amu has been the starter for the Defenders, but they will bring in former Miami quarterback D’Eriq King, who has had a great season so far. One other thing to note is that the Defenders fans have shown out this year and have given them a true home-field advantage this year.

Houston, meanwhile, is led by former NFL head coach Wade Phillips who has done a very good job with this roster this season. Houston leads the south division with their 4-1 record. Houston suffered their first loss of the season last week when they lost 21-14 at Seattle.

Houston has been lights out on offense, as they have been the best offense in the XFL. Their defense has been very consistent as well, making them a tough team to beat. Brandon Silvers has led the way at the quarterback position, and he will look to bounce back from a poor performance last week.

I am going to back the dog and take the Houston Roughnecks on the spread today. Dc is due for some regression, and this feels like a great spot for them to regress tonight. On the flip side, I like Houston to bounce back from a lackluster performance last week. Dc has looked impressive all season long, but now they run into the best offense in the NFL. I question if they can keep pace in this game tonight, and I can not pass up on the Roughnecks as a dog. Let’s satay hot and cash in!
