LIV Golf Bedminster Odds, Picks, and Longshot Predictions
LIV Golf Bedminster Odds, Picks, and Longshot Predictions
After a nearly month-long hiatus, LIV Golf returns this week for its third event, this time in Bedminster, NJ at Trump National Golf Club. Beginning on Friday, the 48-player field will tee off for its usual 54 holes (no-cut) featuring a scramble start.
This week, three of LIV’s newest editions will debut in Charles Howell III, Jason Kokrak, and Paul Casey; each of whom brings an international appeal the new league was looking for.
Let’s take a closer look at the LIV Golf Bedminster course, field, and some of the week’s favorites and longshots.
LIV Golf Course Preview: Trump National Golf Club
The Fazio-designed par 72 course comes in well above the PGA Tour average at 7,511 yards, making this week a bomber’s paradise. Opened in 2004, the course has been home to the 2017 US Women’s Open, and was on track to host the 2022 PGA Championship before the January 6th Capitol attack caused the PGA Tour to pull the selection.
Regularly selected as one of the top courses in the world, Trump National Golf Course offers incredible views and should make for a great weekend of streaming.

LIV Golf: Bedminster Event Preview
This will far and away be the most stacked field LIV has produced yet, as some of the world’s best players have not made the jump and are playing this week. In addition to the shotgun starts and no-cut, LIV events are also unique in that there is also a team component, 12 in total.
With $4 million going to the outright winner, the top three teams will split an additional price of $5 million. The entire event, which runs from Friday-Sunday, can be streamed live on LIVGolf.com, Facebook, and YouTube.

LIV Golf: Bedminster Favorites
Dustin Johnson (+500) (Bet $100 to win $500)
Coming off a sixth-place finish at the British Open, DJ is still very much at the top of his game, and has won two majors already, expect to see him in every one of 2023, as well. Outside of that, LIV Golf events are likely where he’ll remain as he’s so far turned in 8th and 3rd place finishes in its two events thus far.
The highest-ranked player in LIV golf when making the jump, expect him to be the odds-on favorite in every tournament he enters with the new series. While the odds are short, the field is much smaller than the average PGA Tour field, and DJ is head and shoulders above most of the field from a talent perspective.
LIV Golf: Bedminster Longshots
Jason Kokrak (+2200) (Bet $100 to win $2200)
One of the most recent additions to LIV Golf, Kokrak comes into the new series this week fresh off a T42 at the British Open, shooting 68 on Sunday. The three-time PGA Tour winner picked up one of those wins just this season, winning the Houston Open in November starting a run of six straight made cuts, which included four top 30s.
He makes the jump to LIV Golf having competed for almost every week of the season, and it wouldn’t surprise me if we see him find his groove early here in New Jersey.
