This week, the PGA Tour travels to Southern California for the Riviera Country Club's 2023 Genesis Invitational. The Genesis Invitational field includes 23 of the top 25 golfers in the world, with Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, and Scottie Scheffler leading the pack.
Tiger Woods, a 15-time major winner, will also be playing and making his season debut. According to the most recent Genesis Invitational odds from DraftKings Sportsbook, Rahm is the 8-1 favorite, followed closely by McIlroy at 9-1.

Genesis Invitational Predictions
Max Homa (+3500) Bet $100 to collect $3,600 DraftKings has the best odds, click here to bet
It has to be Homa if it's California. Homa is a California native who has won four of his six PGA Tour victories in his home state, including the Genesis two years ago.
After he won the Farmers Insurance Open last month, the support on Homa futures for the U.S. Open at LACC has been one of the most popular in golf, and for good reason. While his strong play might fade over the weekend, he should have an edge here early to find strokes out of the gates.
Cameron Young (+4500) Bet $100 to collect $4,600 DraftKings has the best odds, click here to bet
Young played in the WM Phoenix Open last week and made the cut, but his short-game issues prevented him from doing much more than that. Over the weekend, he improved with his irons and continued to play well off the tee. Prior to last week, he was playing pretty well, therefore I anticipate him to move right along in the same direction as The Genesis.
In his first career start at Riviera, Young placed second in this competition last year and totally dominated the field in terms of Strokes Gained. He outperformed everyone else in this field by 1.2 strokes, averaging 3.64 SG: Total each round. Averaging .35 strokes higher each round on the California grass, Poa, Young is also a significantly better putter on them than on other surfaces.
Jordan Spieth (+4500) Bet $100 to collect $4,600 DraftKings has the best odds, click here to bet
Finishing T6 last week in a stacked WMO field, Jordan Spieth continues to play great golf to start the 2022-23 season. The 13-time PGA Tour winner comes into the week with three top 20s so far this season, with his result last week being the highest thus far.
Over his last five appearances here at Rivieria, Spieth has made all five cuts, including a T26 finish last year that saw him firing out of the gates. A guy that tends to shine the brightest when the fewest expect it, I like a strong start from Spieth here that has him in contention early.
Riding the confidence from his highest finish of the season last week, I think we see Spieth post a strong number in this one.
