Tiger Woods Masters Predictions: The Best Tiger Woods Prop to Bet
Tiger Woods continues to drive golf ratings despite rarely competing on the PGA Tour during the past two years. The aging 47-year-old star returns to Augusta National for the 25th time in search of tying Jack Nicklaus' sixth win.
The last time we saw Woods out on the course, he managed to make the cut at Genesis in February, which is where his career began back in 1995. He went -1-under-par in the opening round of The Masters in 2022, which allowed Woods to make the cut before ultimately imploding with back-to-back rounds of +6-over-par to wind up with 47th.

Crowds have already been forming during Woods' practice rounds at Augusta this week, so we can expect the energy to be buzzing whenever he takes the tee box on Thursday. It was only four years ago when he pulled off an improbable comeback late in the final round, passing Francesco Molinari, Brooks Koepka, Xander Schauffele, and Dustin Johnson to wind up as the outright winner at -13-under-par. It was Woods' fifth outright win at The Masters and his first since 2005.
Can the veteran superstar defy the 70/1 outright win odds to don his record-tying sixth Green Jacket? Or will he miss the cut for only the second time ever at Augusta? Let's find out which prop bet is the best investment to make on Woods ahead of Thursday's opening tee times.

Best Tiger Woods Prop to Bet
In 2022, Tiger Woods played a great opening round of golf, sinking three birdies and managing to stay below par at -1. His next three rounds steadily grew worse, and the same could happen in 2023, with poor weather conditions expected that could take a toll on the superstar's healing body. Naturally, taking his First Round Leader odds at 60/1 is enticing, but he hasn't come close to pulling off that feat in his previous two appearances.
I liked Woods' initial odds for making the cut, which began at plus odds since he hasn't missed a cut at Augusta National since his second appearance in 1996. However, Woods' odds to make the cut have steadily shortened to -215, which is too much juice for me to recommend laying. If you got on this prop line early, congratulations, as oddsmakers and sportsbooks both seemingly have plenty of confidence in Woods and his ability to play during the final two rounds this weekend.
The prop bet that jumps out to me, which is still a risk, is betting on Woods to play a bogey-free round. In 2022, Woods opened up with -1-under-par, with bogeys on the par 5 eighth hole and par 4 14th hole popping up as the only negative results in an otherwise stout opener. The forecast for Thursday is expected to be over 80 degrees and sunny, which are ideal conditions for Woods to operate.
At nearly 4/1 odds (+380), I'm willing to invest a unit or two on Woods playing a bogey-free round during the opening round on Thursday. He went -4-under-par in 2021 during the opening round at Augusta, so Woods has a tendency to perform up to his best standards in the early stages of this Major. This prop bet applies to any round, but I think if it happens, it'll be on Thursday. Good luck, and let's cash out!
