Clark is making just his third Masters start, but his profile is trending the right way for a make-cut look. He has posted respectable 2026 results including T42 at The Players and T41 at Genesis, and while he missed the cut at Valspar, his overall level is still much stronger than many players in this price range. Augusta experience is still limited, but this is not a total unknown anymore.
The argument here is simple: Clark is still in his prime and does not need to contend to cash this ticket. He just needs two stable rounds, and his current form is much easier to trust than a lot of the older names around him. At a modest favorite price, the make-cut side feels justified.

Johnson is a former Masters champion, winning in 2020, but this feels like a very different stage of his career. He is making his 16th Masters start, yet recent major form has been shaky, including a missed cut here in 2025 and missed cuts in both the 2025 PGA Championship and 2025 U.S. Open. Reuters also noted this week that Johnson has struggled for form relative to the other LIV players in the field.
That makes plus money on him to miss appealing. Augusta can expose rusty iron play and a cold putter quickly, and Johnson no longer carries the week-to-week reliability he once did. He always has enough talent to find a round, but the recent trend suggests the miss side is the better value.

That is why the miss side stands out. You are not fading his course knowledge, you are fading whether that knowledge can still overcome declining top-end form against this field. Near even money, this feels like a clean spot to go against an aging former champion whose Augusta résumé is doing most of the pricing work.

Homa is the priciest of the five, but his Augusta record justifies it. He is making his seventh Masters start and has finished inside the top 12 in each of the past two years, including a T3. The case for Homa is that Augusta clearly suits him better than a lot of venues, and this bet only asks for two playable rounds. He does not need to be in peak win form to make the weekend here. Of the favorites on this board, he is one of the more trustworthy make-cut names because the course history and current baseline are both solid.
