Chicago Blackhawks vs. Boston Bruins Prediction: Expect Connor Bedard, Blackhawks to Continue Scoring
The Chicago Blackhawks upset the Pittsburgh Penguins on opening night, and now head to Boston on a back-to-back. JT Miller is here to explain why you should expect Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks to continue lighting up the scoreboard against the Bruins in their second contest.

5 minChicago Blackhawks vs. Boston Bruins Prediction: Expect Connor Bedard, Blackhawks to Light the Lamp
The Blackhawks got off to a terrific start last night in a 4-2 road victory over Pittsburgh. Peter Mrazek stood on his head after the Hawks fell behind 2-0 and they stormed back in the 3rd period with three goals to secure the victory from the jaws of defeat. Tonight, they head to Boston to take on the Bruins on the second night of this back-to-back, and I expect goals to be scored.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Boston Bruins Prediction
We are back to the best time of the year, with action across multiple sports underway everyday for the next month. Football everyday, playoff baseball heating up, and the NHL season kicking off makes for a wonderful month in the betting world. To kick off our day, I want to dive into one of my favorite totals on the board tonight.
Chicago proved they will play with pace here early on and have definitely improved this season, and it is early enough in the year that the back-to-back fatigue factor does not scare me. They left Pittsburgh with a massive upset victory last night, and I believe they keep that same offensive energy here tonight. Arvis Soderblum will be between the pipes for the Hawks, and I do not expect him to be able to deliver a standout performance in two straight nights.
On the flip side, Boston was one of the best defensive teams in the league last year, and had the Vezina Trophy winner in Linus Ullmark between the pipes for them. Boston will stay elite, as will Ullmark, but I do not expect that type of defensive dominance all season long. It is the home opener for the B's who want vengeance for a playoff collapse, the Blackhawks have momentum, and I like this total tonight as both teams will put pucks in the net.
