Well we cashed in on the total in Detroit last time we played it on Tuesday and I am going right back to the well here tonight. The Winnipeg Jets are in the Motor City for a clash with the Detroit Red Wings tonight and I think we see a really great hockey game tonight.

Winnipeg Jets vs. Detroit Red Wings Prediction
Detroit is off to a phenomenal start this season currently sitting at 5-1-1 with the best offense in the league thus far. The Red Wings have scored 34 goals in seven games a 4.80 GPG average and they are sporting the second best power play percentage in the league sitting second to just New Jersey converting at 41.4%.
They suffered their first regulation loss on Tuesday when they lost a barnburner against Seattle at home by a final score of 5-4 and I love them to rebound here tonight. They have a serious jump on the division and a chance to build an early buffer here if they keep the pedal to the metal.
On the flip side, Winnipeg is currently 3-3 so nothing stellar but they are coming off of their first pair of back-to-back wins all season and have scored ten goals in their last three games.
They currently sit among the top third of the league in scoring at 3.33 GPG and tonight I am sure they are aware they need to force the issue against an incredibly potent Detroit squad. Double dipping on this game tonight.
