Well we actually have a really nice slate here on the ice for a Monday night with nine games underway and I want to dive into the last puck dropping on the board. The 3-5 Chicago Blackhawks are in Arizona for a clash with the 3-4 Coyotes and I think we see two young squads put on a show tonight for the fans.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction
This is one of the more peculiar wagers (on paper) we will take this season. The base level statistics about these two squads may not suggest we have a high scoring affair here tonight but some of the underlying layers make this spot really attractive. Arizona and Chicago have both been better defensively so far this season but they are not great.
Chicago is coming off a great 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights but have conceded 16 goals in their last four games. On the flip side, Arizona has scored 15 goals in their last four games but have also conceded 14 goals in that time frame.
Neither squad has an executional net minder going tonight with Connor Ingram confirmed for the desert dogs and Petr Mrazek likely for the Hawks. There is just a lot of potential for pace and speed in this game and those are two very good things to have when looking at a total.
These squads are young and trying to establish who they are in the league, winning winnable games is a good way to do that and both squads can take this one tonight. I think we see six at a minimum and should see more early.
