We have a smaller slate here on the ice tonight, but still enough action to sink our teeth into with four games on the board. There is actually action I like in almost every game tonight, but at first look one of my favorite plays is the late night puck dropping, so that is where we are heading. The Arizona Coyotes are in California for a clash with the Anaheim Ducks, as two of the league's youngest squads look to keep moving in the right direction.

The Desert Dogs offense has looked great and very much improved since last season, I love the way this young squad is playing hockey. The boys look hungry to right the ship in Arizona this season. They are 4-4 and have won three of their last five games, while scoring 23 goals across that time frame for a 4.3 GPG average. On the season they are sporting a 3.34 GPG average and are among the top half of the league in PP%.
On the flip side, you have a red hot Ducks squad at home coming off four straight wins, and they have scored 18 goals in their last four games. Anaheim looks excellent right now, and is averaging 3.21 GPG this season.
Four of the last five meetings between these two squads at least hit this number, with three of them going over. I love this spot, especially with the way both of these squads are playing. My only real concern is Karel Vejmelka standing on his head, but I think we will still see goals from both squads.
