Well we have a loaded slate here on this fine Thursday night and I am ready to dive into some of my favorite plays on the ice. The Pittsburgh Penguins are in Los Angeles for a clash with the red hot Kings.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Los Angeles Kings Prediction
Los Angeles is 8-2-2 and second in the league in scoring with a 4.25 GPG average so far this season and they looked great against Vegas in a 4-1 victory last night. The moves they made in the offseason to solidify the elite group that they were formulating at the end of last season were great for the squad and the Kings look lethal so far this season.
The over is 5-0 thus far in home games for the Kings and with the way their offense is moving the puck, I will continue to back the total as long as they are facing another competent offense like they are tonight.
Pittsburgh is off to a lackadaisical start to the season at 5-6 and with the level of talent they have, expectations are much higher for that squad. I do expect things to pick up for the pens but you have to show up for these big games to take steps in that direction. They have plenty of their own firepower sporting a 3.45 GPG average but the Kings have been outgunning everyone so the Pens know what they are up against here.
Cam Talbot went for the Kings last night and stood on his head holding Vegas to one goal on 40 SOG. Tonight Pheonix Copley should be between the pipes who is sporting a 1-0-1 record so far this season with a 4.96 GAA.
