We had a good night on the ice yesterday, and I am ready to keep that going despite the smaller slate tonight. The first game I want to dive into takes us to New York City for a clash at Madison Square Garden between two of the NHL's most talented squads, the New York Rangers and Edmonton Oilers.

Edmonton Oilers vs. New York Rangers Prediction
Connor McDavid has reappeared and the Oilers are clawing their way back into the playoff conversation, I expect a good game from them following the big win over New Jersey yesterday. With that said, it is just really hard for me to fade New York on home ice in this spot. New York has won four of their last five, holding opponents to a total of five goals in those four wins, and Jonathan Quick should be between the pipes. The veteran netminder has turned back time and played like a Vezina trophy contender so far this season. Quick has wildly outplayed Rags star netminder Igor Shesterkin, and at 9-0-1 with a 2.09 GAA and save percentage of .926, it is hard not to bet on him.
The Rangers are sound on both ends of the ice and the offense can do everything they need to to win this game. Even if it is a track meet, they can keep up, but I do not think the Rangers give the Oilers the opportunity to make it one. New York took the first meeting of the year between these two, and should move to 2-0 on the season series tonight.
