Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars Prediction: Can Nathan MacKinnon, Avalanche Light the Lamp?

Well we have a loaded slate on the ice tonight and I am licking my chops, the board looks good and there is money to be made. The first game I want to dive into takes us to the American Airlines Center in Dallas as the Stars (22-10-4) host the Colorado Avalanche (24-11-3) in a Central Division clash that should bring some fireworks to the Lone Star state.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars Prediction

We have been riding with the Dallas home overs for what feels like months now and until there is a reason to not ride the train, I am sticking with it. The over is now an incredible 15-4 on home ice for Dallas and while usually you expect regression on a run like that, I do not expect it tonight. This is not just a clash between division rivals, it is a clash between contenders; both squads posses a plethora of firepower and should come out swinging tonight.

Dallas ranks sixth best in the league for first period scoring at 23/35 and are 8-2 across their last ten. The over has hit in three straight meetings head-to-head. Dallas has been the better 5x5 team this season but the super stars on the Avalanche squad, like Nathan MacKinnon, that can negate whenever they please and they undoubtedly have the special teams advantage. Two unit play for me, let's ride.
