We kept things rolling last night on the ice, and I plan on doing the same with a short board this evening. To kick off our Wednesday action, we are heading to Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado as the last two teams to hoist the Stanley Cup will clash in a star-studded affair.

Vegas Golden Knights vs. Colorado Avalanche Prediction
The Vegas Golden Knights (23-12-5) have been struggling lately and are dealing with injuries, but are coming off of a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders. On the flip side, the Colorado Avalanche (26-12-3) have won four of their last five and have scored 21 goals in that time frame. They are leading the league with a 4.25 GPG average on home ice and are sporting one of the most lethal power play units in the league. The Avalanche have an all star cast lead by Nathan MacKinnon, who is just one point off of the league lead at 66 with 22 goals and 44 assists on the season.
Vegas has lost six of their last eight games, and this is just the second start for Adin Hill since November 30th. The guy is a stud with good numbers for the season, but has been battling injuries for six weeks and has not started since December 17th. I expect some rust, and if there isn't, I still expect the guys in front of him to give up chances. I anticipate a lot of goals from Colorado here but Vegas should contribute, it's a revenge game for the Avalanche after Vegas embarrassed them 7-0 earlier in the year.
