We have a small two-game slate here tonight, but I like action on both games so let's dive in. The St. Louis Blues (26-20-1) host the Columbus Blue Jackets (15-24-10) at the Enterprise Center tonight for a game that the Notes hope to bag to roll momentum forward into the extended break.

This is a great spot for the home squad with an advantageous matchup, and a squad playing really well right now. I told you all this young St. Louis squad is starting to put it all together, they are finding their new identity with the roster they now have, and are making things work. They ride five straight victories into this one with three straight coming in overtime, they are having no issue keeping their game in tact when things are tight (four straight one goal victories), and are getting the job done. Jordan Binnington has been confirmed for the Notes and has looked great lately, and always plays better on home ice.
The Blue Jackets are without the former Michigan Wolverine rookie standout Adam Fantilli and a few other guys tonight. They have lost four of their last five, and are at the end of a five-game road trip that took place in just seven days. The boys have fought on the trip, but this feels like a spot they aren't to going to battle too hard for, I like the Notes at home.
