Minnesota Wild vs. Vegas Golden Knights Prediction: Can Mark Stone, Gold Knights Continue to Roll?

Well, it's not my favorite board of the season by any means but I'm happy we have a few games to pick from here on a Monday. The Minnesota Wild (23-20-5) are in Las Vegas for a clash with the Golden Knights (31-15-6) for their first meeting of the season. Vegas has taken four of the last five meetings head-to-head and has won three straight.

Minnesota Wild vs. Vegas Golden Knights Prediction

Minnesota is riding back-to-back wins into this one and should feel good about that but they just scraped out wins over the Blackhawks and Penguins who are both having struggles this season. Tonight, they have their hands full taking on the defending Stanley Cup Champions in enemy territory where Vegas has been dominant all season long.

The Knights are 19-5-2 when at T-Mobile arena and took the last meeting there easily by a score of 4-1. They rank in the middle of the pack with 3.23 GPG on home ice but they are also rock solid defensively and seem to know how to beat this squad.

Over 5.5 is tempting here and I still might fire on it but with Adin Hill in net and the Knights on home ice, I am just going to back them here at an okay price. I mean they have Jack Eichel, Jonathan Marchessault, Mark Stone, William Karlsson, and Ivan Barbashev. This team won a cup for a reason and they are playing well right now. Look for them to pick up their fifth win in six games tonight.
