The next game we are diving into today takes us to the evening slate, as the Ottawa Senators (22-27-2) are in South Florida for a clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning (30-21-5) in what should be a very spirited affair. Each of the last five meetings between these two squads have gone over, with them hitting seven at minimum in each game and clearing double digits twice. With the style of play, we should see the pace I expect, I think the lamp is going to be lit up plenty this game.

Ottawa Senators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Prediction
Tampa Bay got absolutely thrashed by their in-state rival Florida Panthers by a final score of 9-2 over the weekend, and if the Bolts are the team we all know they can be tonight, they should be pissed and this is a scary spot for Ottawa. Tampa Bay has the fourth-ranked squad offensively in the league, sporting 3.41 GPG thus far on the season. That number increases to 3.93 GPG on home ice, and that is a recipe for disaster for Ottawa.
Ottawa can score so I like them to contribute to the total, but they also are the third-worst team in the league defensively sporting a 3.61 GAA overall. Somehow, that number is even worse on the road, where they concede 3.71 goals per game. Andrei Vasilevskiy is one of the world's most elite netminders, I would not fade him in a series or against pretty much anyone. But after how bad he looked Saturday, it is hard to expect a shutout performance from him here.
